INTRODUCTION

The Nitte School of Architecture, Planning and Design was established in Banglore, Karnataka in August 2016. It is an AICTE approved institution under the affiliation of VTU.

About Nitte Educational Trust

We are a renowned institution under the Nitte Education Trust, Mangalore which is a premier non-profit organization that is committed to providing quality education and healthcare services to the rural people of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada Districts. The Founder Chairman of Nitte Education Trust and Institutions is Justice Late Shri K S Hegde, Former CJI. Nitte Education Trust has Nitte University and Autonomous institutions. Over 65 institutions which include Schools, Hospitals, Research Centers, Technical Institutions, Engineering Institutions, Satellite Health Centers, Management Institution, Architecture & Planning, Health Science Institutions, and Science & Commerce Institutions are part of Nitte Education Trust.

About Nitte School of Architecture, Planning and Design, Banglore 

Nitte School of Architecture Planning and Design was incepted in the year 2016-17. We offer –

• B.Arch (5-year degree program) with a sanctioned intake of 80 students
• B.Plan (4-year degree program) with an intake of 40 students

A highlight is that Nitte school of Architecture, Planning and Design is the only institution to have the B.Plan program in Karnataka approved by AICTE & ITPI and Affiliated to VTU.
The major goal of the school is to provide a path in the direction of sustainable solutions for the problems faced in urban India - especially to tackle issues that are rooted in the intersection of political frameworks, social & cultural relationships, and economic dynamics that are intertwined with the physical landscapes and systems that form a city.

Campus and Infrastructure

The Nitte School of Architecture, Planning and Design has a dedicated block housing both architecture and planning departments within the campus of Nitte Meenakshi institute of technology. Separate boys and girls hostels along with various other facilities are provided with the campus while being shared with Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.
